Gopi Lakshminarayanan

Sri. Gopi Lakshminarayanan is a disciple of late Sri. Kumbakonam Narayanaswamy Iyer and he is currently learning from Sri. Thanjavur Ramdoss (disciple of Sri. Palghat Mani Iyer). He runs a mridangam school, Sharadha School of Thala Vadhya in Fremont, CA for more than 10 years. Gopi loves coaching young students in innovative ways and makes this art form interesting to learn. Many of his students have won prizes in competitions such as Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and his students also provide accompaniment support for various artists in the USA and India. Gopi regularly provides accompaniment support for local bay area teachers and visiting artists from India.
