IIT Madras Institute Day 2023

We had a great turnout by the IITM alumni and spouses from the Bay Area, and were privileged to have the presence of these distinguished visitors from India:

• Prof. Mahesh Panchagnula (Dean Alumni & Corporate Relations, IIT Madras)

• Mr. Kaviraj Nair (CEO at Office of Institutional Advancement, IIT Madras)

• Mr. V Shankar (Trustee & Chair, IIT Madras Alumni Charitable Trust)

Kamal Duggirala (Chairman, IIT Madras Foundation) also addressed the audience.

IITMAANA Bay Area Chapter is grateful to this committed group of volunteers without whose help this event would not have been possible – Abhinav Parakh, Arjun Velmurugan Mahesh, Asilata Patwardhan, Bala Ramakrishnan, Bharath Ramasubramanian, Chandar Venkataraman, Dinesh Nettar, HK Verma, K.Vinodh Gopinath, Kiran Patchigolla, Latha Raman, Mohan Garde, Padma Nayak, Praveena Madhavarapu, Premlata Parihar Bhati, R Sivasankar, Raghavendra Sunku, Rajesh Ramanujam, Sandhya Garde, Saraswathi Bala, Shobana Sivasankar, Vaibhav Sharma, Vijay Raman. Many others stepped up to help out at the event.

The Chapter thanks each of the alums and spouses who attended to make this an even larger event than last year’s. We had about 190 attendees.

It was heartening to see the large number of first-time attendees (alums and spouses) to an IITMAANA event.
